Prepare construction documents consistent with
architectural specifications and project requirements. Working from
architectural plans prepare detailed construction documents primarily
for Institutional Buildings - specifically insure that the architectural
drawings comply with applicable codes and ordinances. Coordinate and
monitor construction to insure it proceeds in accordance with
architectural plans (i.e. review shop drawings, conduct site visits and
report on construction progress) to ensure project proceeds in
accordance with architectural design intent.
Requires a Master’s Degree in
Architecture and 1 year of experience. In the alternative, will accept a
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and 5 years of experience, or any
reasonable combination of education, training and experience thereof.
Experience can be progressive.
